I’m working on interior. I’ve received this kit already started.. and damaged. It was necessary to reconstruct some details.

Little update and one step back.. I was asked to add small handles on vehicle’s sides. Eduard’s kit provides photoethed parts for this details, but they’re flat and it is difficult to mount them reliably. It was necessary to made them with thin wire mounted in drilled tiny holes

BTW, vehicle will be repainted with another camouflage scheme

Engine, and engine’s mount painted

I’m working in this kit from DML, packed by Italeri. ow engine is redy to paint:

I’ve made wash with brown van dyke oil paint thinned with lighter fluid. When it was dry, I’ve varnished all with satin cote. Next step was some oily stains and patches behind engine.
At last I’ve mounted wing, struts, main gear, engine and gun. And made some muddy stains  on gear and on fuselage side under pilot’s cabin.

I’ve made camouflage and some shades

Airbrushing is done, and decals are applied. Unfortunately, transparent film is not so transparent as it should be. But I hope all will be OK, after wash and weathering

I’ve painted base color of camouflage- on khaki basecoat applied highlihgts of dark yellow and buff

Paintwork started: ‘metal’ surfaces painted with gunze’s silver, whole plane is preshaded. I’m going to paint all this parts separaqtly and mount wing, main gear etc at the end of works

Working on details: engine, trim tabs, generator (still without propeller’s blades)..
